1. OUR RESPONSIBILITY North Star Computers is responsible for delivering you outstanding service. Great customer service is our guiding principle. If at any time your experience is less than outstanding, please let us know and we will make it right.
  2. REPRESENTATION By requesting services provided by North Star Computers, you are confirming that you are the owner of the property in or on which the services are to be performed, or have received authorization from the owner.
  3. DATA BACK-UP POLICY Before North Star Computers performs diagnostic repair on your computer or equipment, it is solely your responsibility to back up the data, software, information, or other files stored on your discs and/or drives. North Star Computers will not be held responsible under any circumstance for any loss or corruption of data and/or software. If you have any concerns about your data, please ask a member of staff.
  4. REPAIR TIMES Repair times are only estimated and are not guaranteed. Some repairs may take longer due to the specific needs of the equipment during the repair. There is no additional charge for our express turnaround times, or a discount to increase the turnaround time.
  5. ABANDONMENT Computers and/or devices are considered abandoned if you do not make contact with us within 30 days of product arrival or service completion. We will make every attempt to make contact with you. We will recycle your product at our sole discretion.
  6. 30-DAY REPAIR SERVICE GUARANTEE We stand behind our repair, installations, and upgrade services for 30 days from the date of service completion. If the problem you are having is a direct repetition of the exact problem which caused you to request service from North Star Computers, then you are eligible for our 30-Day Repair Service Guarantee.
  7. Please note that we will not be held accountable for issues with other parts and functions of the equipment since repair. Subsequent changes to your computer or device’s configuration since service (including hardware, software and/or antivirus protection program) voids this guarantee. Accidental damage (including breakages and cracks) to any installed part is not covered.
  8. All faults and/or persisting technical issues must be confirmed by ourselves. We reserve the right to decide how we will remedy a persisting problem.
  9. 1 YEAR SCREEN REPLACEMENT AND PARTS GUARANTEE We stand behind our Screen and Parts Replacement Services for 1 year from the date of purchase. This guarantee applies to any manufacturer defects of led/lcd screens and/or service parts purchased and installed by us.
  10. Electronic deficiencies include Lines, Dead Pixels and Premature Backlight Outage that are manufacturer defects of the screen and not caused by accidental damage or caused by a defect of another computer component. Accidental damage, including all breakages and cracks, are not covered.
  11. Please note that we will not be held accountable for issues with other parts and functions of the equipment since  the repair. Subsequent changes to your device’s configuration since service (including hardware and software) voids this guarantee. Accidental damage (including breakages and cracks) to any installed part is not covered.
  12. AFFILIATION North Star Computers is an independent service provider. North Star Computers is  in no way, shape, or form affiliated with Apple, Samsung, or other IT manufacturers.
  13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY By requesting services provided by North Star Computers, you agree to release and hold harmless North Star Computers from and against any loss, liability, or damage, including without limitation, any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, expense, costs, profits, lost savings or earnings or liability that you, the owner, may suffer arising out of, or related to, the services or recommendations provided by North Star Computers. For the avoidance of doubt, North Star Computers has no liability for any data lost or any damage incurred in any circumstances whatsoever.
  14. We also reserve the right to refrain from providing any or all services requested and refund your payment, wholly or in part, if minimum system requirements are not met or your requirements are unusual, extensive, or beyond the scope of our services as reasonably determined by North Star Computers staff.
  15. FORCE MAJEURE If North Star Computers’s ability to provide services is impaired by circumstances beyond our control, we may choose not to provide services.
